Services
Wrapped around Work 2.0, our Integrated Online Communities platform, are services which make our approach to online communities more complete and integrated.
Our services include: A Strategy component, which focuses on identifying the communities that will bring the most impact to the Enterprise; A implementation and customization component that helps make Work 2.0 specific to your organization; and a post implementation support component through which we help manage your Work 2.0 implementation through technical, administrative, moderation OR in a SaaS (Software as a Service) total community management model.
Beyond building a community, our services extend to integration with existing tools like CRM, SFA, Call Center , HR, etc. We also extend our integration to handheld devices.

Managed Work 2.0
Management of your Online community has multiple aspects. A community needs to have
- Administration - to make sure content providers update their blogs, discussion board, videocasts, podcasts, user profiles, etc
- Moderation – to ensure that spam and unregistered comments, posts are not allowed
- Technical Support – to ensure that all portions of the site are working and to manage user help requests, bug fixes and technical fine-tuning of the site
- Hosting – the community has to be hosted with adequate redundancy to ensure uptime
Managed Work 2.0 has two distinct management options:
- SaaS Option: We build a specific solution for you and host it, manage it and maintain it. This also includes specific modules, funtionality and features additions.
- Admin, Moderation and Tech Support: An option where we support a client self-hosted community by providing all the other management services on an ongoing basis
Integration
Work 2.0 is designed to work within an existing enterprise technology stack. The design of these integration elements are specific to each community and each client. Our open systems SOA/REST based API was created with the intent that existing technology investments made by enterprises should be maximized AND not replaced
Our Webi5 service offering focuses on integration of your Work 2.0 implementation with other enterprise wide tools like: Microsoft SharePoint, Sales Force and CRM applications, ERP implementations, Human Resource Management systems, Loyalty applications, Call Center logs, Enterprise Content Management systems, etc. as well as with Custom Applications
Our Mobi5 service offering focuses on bringing the online community to the handheld – either through a custom interface or a mobile browser version of the community.
Offshore Captive Centers
In the offshore services space, Collabor draws on its indepth experience of establishing, maintaining and transferring captive teams in India for its customers, as against offering traditional outsourcing services. These services are offered under the Captiv8 brand.
Broadly, such services are offered under the following models:
Virtual Teams: Collabor will recruit, provide the required infrastructure and administratively manage a team of resources as desired by the customer in the chosen skills. The customer manages the deliverables from this team, while collabor will advise the customer on compensation, retention and human resource development matters. The customer has direct visibility on resources, their compensation, bonus and all welfare related measures, thereby giving them a complete control on how the team is motivated and managed.
At a predetermined period, Collabor seamlessly transfers such resource pools into customer's owned legal entity and facilities. This model is generally referred to as the Build Own Transfer (BOT) model in the offshoring world. However, the key differentiator is that an employee under Collabor's captiv8 model knows that he / she is joining a customer's team with a specific objective of transfer at a later stage thereby assuming ownership of the customer's brand and identity.
Fully owned captive centers: In certain cases, where the customer would like to transfer their existing team into their own legal entity, Collabor helps in creating such entity with the required licenses and registrations, besides providing the required infrastructure. In such cases, Collabor can either continue to provide some key management functions like Accounting, Compliances, Recruitment, Payroll, Administration, Facilities management, etc., or handover the complete center to the customers management team when appropriate.
Collabor's management team has successfully created 30 plus more such teams with a combined strength of more than 2500 employees before they transitioned into customer owned management. Today, these captive center's are thriving captive operations for their parent companies worldwide.
