Collaboration - An evolution that isn't loud but has a number to it

We have come a long way since we begun on the path of enabling Collaboration for online users.  Our new delivery facility in Hyderabad went live this week and our engineering strength grew to 50+.

When we tagged ourselves as a "collaboration" company, we saw that the signs of market adoption were limited to the conceptual.  They were'nt 'many measurable successes in terms of what Collaboration improved for the masses, save for the huge sales numbers for MS Sharepoint and a few other private enterprise collaboration systems.

Midway, since launch of our offerings in early 2007, we realized that the game could be won with enabling Collaboration within existing workflows in any contexts requiring communities to come together.  The holy grail wasn't a ready to Collaborate platform, but a series of planned interventions, whether to promote better interactivity between a community of users,  enabling mobility to existing software or building products that make sure users have a reason to stick.  A ready to implement library of code that allows for rapid deployment of solutions.

We have tasted and experienced a first visible success of this philosophy.  A 1 million visitors per month mark for an interactive portal for senior users and a near 100% growth rate in user adoption.  We know we are on track.   We love the word collaboration, but we are enabling targeted online communities and setting them up for success.  There's nothing like success that can be measured.
